Aptera, a California company says they have designed a small three seater hybrid vehicle that get 300 mpg. The car, a looks like a three wheeled airplane without wings and comes in either a full plug-in electric version or a hybrid version. The electric only version can be recharged in only a few hours and give the driver a 120 mile range. With the third seat removed there is still an impressive cargo space in the back. The best thing of all is that you can get the vehicle for less than $30,000. Due to the wheel layout and weight the Aptera is actually considered a motorcycle.
